Is the race officially timed?

Official times will be provided by our timing company and will count for your new PB! These will be posted on social media and linked in our post race email to you.

How old do I have to be to run?

4 years old or older on Race Day for Community Mile, all under 16s must be accompanied by Adult in the Community Mile and 5K races, and 17 years+ to take part in the Half Marathon. You must be 16 years or older on race day to take part in the 10K.

Is there a cut-off time?

The Half Marathon must be completed within four hours. The 10K must be completed within within two hours.

Is there a medal for finishers?

Yes! We have a Run Sandringham medal for all finishers in every distance.

What time does the race start?

The 5K & 10K begins at 9.15am and 9.45am respectively. The Half Marathon will begin at 9.30am, and the Community Mile will begin at 12.30pm approx.

What are the dates of the races?

The 10K & 5K takes place on Sunday 15th June 2025. The Half Marathon and Community Mile events takes place on Sunday 28th September 2025.

Where does the race start?

The race starts and finishes within the Sandringham Estate, Sandringham. The Estate is easily reached by Car, and Bicycle.

Is there a map of the course?

Absolutely - a map of each distance is available on the distance specific race pages.

Where do we collect our race number from?

All bib numbers for our Half Marathon, 5K, Community Mile and 10K event distances are posted in advance if you entered by 10 days before the event. If you have not received in the post, you can collect a replacement within the Event Village on Race Day.

If taking part in our 24 hour event, your bib number can be collected within the Event Village on either the Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

I’ve purchased Premium Parking, what do I need to do?

Simply follow the Premium Parking signs on arrival at the Estate, which will bring you to the junction opposite ‘Victoria Cottages’ in West Newton on the B1439. Premium Parking passes are sent out via email 48 hours before the event - and you need to display the pass as a printout or on phone on arrival at the event. Please do not email us to be sent passes early as these are emailed 48 hours before.

How much is the entry fee?

Half Marathon= £28 Affiliated, £30 Unaffiliated.

Community Mile = £9 Affiliated, £11 Unaffiliated.

10K = £24 Affiliated, £26 Unaffiliated

5K = £16 Affiliated, £18 Unaffiliated.

All registrations are subject to a small booking fee.

What entertainment is available at the event?

More details will be posted on this closer to the event - but expect music, food and drink!

Can I run with my dog?

Unfortunately, as per UKA rules, running with dogs is not allowed.

Can I bring my dog to the event village?

Dogs are permitted on leads within the event village and country park. They are unfortunately not permitted on the route, or in Gardens, Museum and House. Parts of the Sandringham shop and Onsite Cafe are dog friendly also.

Can I run with headphones?

Bone conducting headphones are allowed in line with England Athletics rules, but in ear headphones of all types are banned from this race.

How many places are available?

The number of general entries varies by event. There are still charity entries available via East Anglian Air Ambulance, Break, East Anglian Children’s Hospices, Norfolk and Waveney Mind, RNLI, Mind over Cancer, SSAFA and Vision Norfolk. More details can be found if you CLICK HERE

Who are the event organisers?

The event is organised by Good Running Events Ltd.

Am I able to transfer / defer my place?

Please check the registration pages for specific details about deadlines for transfers and deferrals. No transfers or deferrals will be accepted after the advertised date/time, shown within the event description on the registration page. This is also publicised via social media.

Are there toilet facilities available at the event?

Yes - there are ample toilet facilities available to use in the event village, as well as on course, and based at the main Visitor Centre at Sandringham Estate, which the route passes by, and are signed. Further details on the location of Toilet facilities are contained within the Event Guide.

Are there water stations on route?

For the Half Marathon and 10K events, there are several water stations on the route - five for the Half Marathon and one for the 10K. However not for our 5K or Community Mile routes. Please refer to the Event Guide for details on where the water stations are based.

Are we still to collect our race number on the day?

All race numbers are posted out to runners unless you have entered within one week of the event. However if you have not received a number you can collect a replacement on race day by heading to Race Registration.

Can I run the route in advance of race day?

Sandringham Estate has a vast amount of Royal Parkland, much of which our routes use. However all routes also make use of the Private areas of the Estate, which are closed to the public during off season, and ticket holders can access during the open season. So unfortunately it is not possible to run the route in it’s entirety ahead of race day.

I’ve ordered an iTab - what do I need to do?

iTabs are produced by our partner and are posted out to runners 4-5 days after the event. No action is required by you and unfortunately are not collected on the day.
