Route & Support

  • The route will be clearly marked during the event with arrows.

The route map is now available to view on the 24 Hour event page.

  • Your timing chip will record each lap completed. We aim to have the results live on the website by 10.00am on Monday morning.

We will release the live results link via the Participant Information Platform during the event.

    • You must wear a head torch from 7.30pm onwards and 6.30am.

    • Signage will be marked with hi visibility signs and lighting in some places to aid night time navigation.

  • There will be emergency medical care available for the duration of the event, both at Basecamp and on the course itself.

  • If for any reason you or one of your team members can’t complete the event, please visit the Control Room at Basecamp to let us know that you are retiring from the event and will take no further part.

In the case of a serious medical emergency we will arrange evacuation for any participant from the course back to basecamp for treatment. However, if you are just having trouble completing the distance, wherever possible please try to complete the lap and retire at Basecamp.

Food & Drink

  • You are permitted to bring a BBQ to the event so long as it is based off of the ground, fully extinguished with water after use, and not used within tents.

  • There will be a water station on the course - based approximately half-way through the 5 mile lap.

There will be limited amounts of nutritional products available at the water station. These may not be available all the time and they are really aimed at solo runners, although anyone in need can take them.

Anyone may leave food supplies here with our volunteers for collection on the way round.

  • We will have a range of concessions to cater for all dietary requirements at the event basecamp.

  • There will be concessions open at Basecamp where you can buy food and drink.

Overnight Camping

  • The camping area is grass based, surrounded by gravel trails which you can use to walk between the car park and campsite / basecamp.

  • No, there are no electric hook ups or waste water points on site.

  • Camping is included in your solo or team runner entry. You must provide your own camping equipment to stay on site.

You are permitted to camp in a tent, caravan or campervan.

If supporters wish to visit with you, they will need to buy a Supporter Weekend Pass.

  • Please do not take recreational space or attempt to exclude others from camping nearby. There is only enough space for camping. We will infill these areas with later arrivals.

  • You are able to choose a spot of your choice, however please do not tape off large areas of space in a camping zone.

To hold a space, place your tent on the ground in the space that it will be erected. Advance teams can bring tents for later arrivals.

Friends & Family

  • Yes, they are. Supporters are allowed into the Basecamp but must purchase a Supporter Weekend Pass.

  • We have a drop off zone where your friends and family can drop you off for the event and pick you up at the Finish.

Any Supporters who wish to come onsite must purchase a Supporter Weekend Pass.

  • Friends and family are not permitted on the course but are able to visit Basecamp. They must purchase a Supporter Weekend or Day Parking Pass to access Basecamp.

  • Dogs are welcome onsite but must be on a lead at all times. Please be a responsible dog owner when it comes to cleaning up after your dog.

Dogs are not permitted on the race route at any time.

Post Event

  • The race results will be screened live throughout the event from a screen in Basecamp.

This feed is also live online so friends and relatives can keep up to date with your progress.

Provisional results are expected from 1.15pm on the day. We make the awards based on the provisional results but will amend these following the event, with the final version expected mid week.

Results will be shown for each person and include split times for each lap. If you do have any issues please contact us via info@runsandringham.co.uk. Where runners forget their chip or wear the wrong one, it is difficult to amend this so please bear this in mind.

  • Any lost property found on the event will be handed to the Info desk at Basecamp for you to collect. We will take this back to our office after the event so please contact us via info@runsandringham.co.uk if you have lost anything.

Please note, any unclaimed lost property will be disposed of after 2 weeks.
